Dr. Agathi Lakioti
Dr. Agathi Lakioti is a counseling psychologist-psychotherapist and a researcher. She has studied Business Administration and Psychology in Athens. She holds a M.Sc. in Person-Centred Counseling Psychology from University of Strathclyde and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences. She works privately as a counseling psychologist – psychotherapist and supervisor and she is a trainer and supervisor in the Person-Centred Approach. She teaches positive psychology, research methodology and counseling ethics in undergraduate and post-graduate programs. Currently she is a post-doctoral research fellow at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences studying mental health professionals’ resilience. Her research interests are focused on resilience and on the process and outcome of psychotherapy. She is also a founding member of the Hellenic Association of Positive Psychology and a trainer at the association’s Diploma in Positive Psychology.
